Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann, Book Review by Lee Leigh

Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann was an historically enlightening read. It told the story of the forgotten man, the Osage Native American who were at one time, the wealthiest people per capita in the world. They were befriended, married, deceived and murdered by the White man for their wealth.

It spotlighted the injustice perpetrated on the Osage people using the law of guardianship as the legal instrument to access the wealth. In many instances the Osage people married their guardian, placing the guardian in the position of inheritance, the perfect motive for murder. I am so looking forward to the movie in the making.
