Supreme Court Confirmation Hearing - Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is phenomenal. As I watched her in action in the Supreme Court Confirmation Hearing on Tuesday, I could hardly contain myself. It gave me such pride to watch her perform with such perfection and confidence. Judge Ketanji’s intellect, knowledge of law, and demeaner separates her from the pack. She was praised by all and attacked by some. The attacks went nowhere. Her responses to the attacks were sharp like a razor, cutting through the complexities of the attacks, exposing them for what they were, designed to confuse and mislead. Every attack was debunked. The attacks kept coming, but not a one hit its target.

I was unable to watch the hearing today, but I pray for Judge Ketanji’s confirmation. Not only would she bring brilliance to the Supreme Court, but she would also bring compassion to the interpretation of the constitution.
